This morning, journey back to Bonassola by train and begin your walk along the old railway tracks. Enjoy the changing terrain as you traverse the rugged coastline, passing through tunnels and over bridges. Admire the Levanto valley‘s verdant interior, with its charming village dotted with church spires and towers, and take a train back to Monterosso to shorten the walk.
After leaving the railway path, continue on mountain paths towards Colla Bagari, basking in the panoramic views of the rolling mountains that encircle the “Gulf of Paradise.” Descend through olive groves and vineyards to Punta Mesco before returning to Monterosso for another night.
After a train transfer, start your exploration of Cinque Terre with a scenic walk from the charming village of Manarola, with its colorful houses clinging to the cliff edge and the azure blue waters below. Take your time to explore the village, indulge in local cuisine, and marvel at the breathtaking views.
The Via Beccara follows the original path between Manarola and Riomaggiore, with a steep ascent and descent along the mountain path that offers breathtaking views of the Cinque Terre coastline and terraced vineyards.
